Unique Extras was a project that showcased the talent of people who experience disability, with the aim of getting more diversity on screen. We wanted to see the 1 in 4 New Zealanders who live with disability equally represented, so we lobbied broadcasters, ad agencies, talent agencies, and the media to drive this change. Unfortunately, the project lost funding in 2013 – this site now serves as a project archive.
